Furnace Tune Up:

  • Inspect and adjust furnace safety devices
  • Inspect all electrical connections
  • Inspect blower compartment
  • Inspect motors and lubricate parts as necessary
  • Test ignition system
  • Inspect pilot and clean flame sensor
  • Measure, record, and adjust manifold pressure
  • Inspect burner assembly
  • Inspect vent conditions
  • Measure carbon monoxide levels
  • Ensure proper furnace cycling
  • Measure temperature rise at steady state
  • Measure and record furnace and inducer amperage and voltage

  • Verify airflow is between 350 and 450 cfm per ton
